Description
CXC4L is proud to announce that we will be hosting the Newark Mile again this year. The race will take place along its traditional 2.5 mile (4km) course along the Newark Days parade route (see course map below for more detail). We are pleased to be hosting the 39th running of this local Newark favorite in partnership with the Newark Days Celebration!
Make sure to bring your kids for the Newark Mile 4Kids! This approximately 50 meter race is intended for kids to get ready to run the Newark Mile when they're older. The kids run takes place at 8:30 am, right before the Newark Mile. Parents, please have your little runners ready to go at 8:15 am to participate. The race will take place near the check-in table at Cedar Blvd. and Chapman Dr.
After the race, stick around to enjoy the rest of the Newark Days such as carnival rides, parade, live entertainment, food festival, car show, and an arts & crafts faire.
