The Columbus Donut Run is an annual 5K running/walking event to benefit Head and Neck Cancer Research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James). All funds raised by the event benefit the Joan Bisesi Fund for Head and Neck Cancer Oncology Research at The OSUCCC – James.

The Columbus Donut Run is the original 5K that pays homage to the donut. We are also proud to be one of the three featured races in The James 5K Race Series!

Although the coronavirus pandemic has derailed many athletic events worldwide, we are happy to announce that the 7th Annual Columbus Donut Run is still scheduled to take place in October 2020.

This year’s event will be a virtual 5K run/walk, which will allow participants to compete safely from their home or favorite running trail. All proceeds earned will continue to support Head and Neck Cancer Research and the Joan Bisesi Fund for Head and Neck Oncology Research at the OSUCCC - James.

Registration for this year’s event is $15 per person. Registration includes a custom Columbus Donut Run face mask, 5K medal, and coupon offers to local donut vendors. Vintage Columbus Donut Run apparel options are also available as add-ons to your registration price. These options are available during your registration process.
