Pride Run turns 41!  Pride Run 2024 marks the 41st running of the Los Angeles Frontrunners Pride Run. Come join us in celebrating 41 years of running, fitness, friendship, and family. Our race is 100% volunteer organized. Each year LAFR makes a substantial contribution to local charities with the proceeds from the Pride Run.  Pride Run 2024 features our traditional 5K and 10K race, free Kids Race and the Ultra Pride Run, where you race both the 5K and 10K!

Location & Date
Pride Run 2024 will be on Sunday, June 16, in Griffith Park (same location as 2023). The start/finish area for Pride Run 2024 is the Crystal Springs Picnic Area in Griffith Park. The 5K is one loop around the golf course, the 10K is two loops around the golf course. The course is trail/packed dirt and flat.

5K, 10K, Free Kids Race & Ultra Pride Run
Pride Run 2024 features our traditional 5K and 10K Race, and our free Kids Race. The 10K will start at 7:30 AM, followed by the Kids Race at 8:45 AM.  The 5K will start at 9:00 AM.  Ultra Pride runners will race BOTH races.  Ultra Pride runners do not race continuously.  After the 10K, Ultra Pride runners will race their 5K starting at 9:00 AM with the regular 5K.

Virtual Race
If you can't join us race day, please join us by registering for the virtual option.  We will ship your race shirt/medal.

Free Kids Race
The Kids Race will start at approximately 8:45 a.m. (after the 10K) and is free. Every child will receive a race number, medal, and goodie bag. There is a section in the registration form to register children. If you (the adult) are not running and just want to attend and have your kid(s) run the kids race, e-mail us at [email protected] with your kid(s) name/age.

5K & 10K Awards
Awards will be given to the top 3 overall in the 5K, 10K and Ultra Pride. Age group awards for the 5K & 10K are top 3 in the following categories: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.  Age group awards for the Ultra Pride Run are top 3 in the following categories: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

About LA Frontrunners
Los Angeles Frontrunners (501c3), is the LA chapter of International Frontrunners, the LGBT running club organization. In addition to running, running, more running (and lots of eating), LAFR raises funds and collects goods to donate to local charities. In the past, those charities include; SRLA, PAWS/LA, Life Worth Saving, Friends of Griffith Park, InsideOut Community Arts, Friends of Project 10, the Senior Services Center & the Transgender Economic Empowerment Project at the LA LGBT Center, The Breakfast Club at St. Thomas the Apostle, and the Don Thompson Scholarship at the USC Film School.
