The CCDSIG has hosted our annual Buddy Walk in Chester County since 2000. This event brings families in our community together to promote awareness and inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome. Registration fees and donations from this event are invested back in our members to offer financial support for expenses such as camp fees, fitness/therapy fees, educational opportunities, parent seminars and more!

Due to COVID-19, this year's annual CCDSIG Buddy Walk on Sunday, October 11th will be virtual.

What's a "virtual walk?" It's a unique opportunity to walk from anywhere in the world to celebrate individuals with Down syndrome. You determine what time you walk, where you go, and who you bring along. We encourage you to invite your family and friends both near and far to participate! 

How can you share your experience? On the day of the walk, we welcome you to share photos, videos and/or experiences of your 1 mile walk on our Facebook page. 

How can you participate (while practicing social distancing)? 

• REGISTER to walk 1 mile with us (virtually) from a venue of your choice, at anytime during the day (register by 9/11/2020 for a free Buddy Walk t-shirt & face mask!).


• 
  WATCH our opening remarks, including messages from a few special guests, at 11am ET on October 11th (a recording will be available on our website for those unable to attend).
  


• DONATE any amount to an individual/team fundraiser or directly to CCDSIG to support our loved ones with Down syndrome


• ENJOY the one mile walk!  


• SHARE pictures showing your participation & support on Facebook & Instagram
