Description

Join in the fun for the 4th Annual Montlake Community Club 5K Turkey Trot and Kids Run, benefiting the University District Food Bank. The race, which goes through the Washington Park Arboretum on Thanksgiving morning, is followed by a Kids Run.  We have a 1/2 mile course for the little ones and a 1 mile course for the bigger kids.

Kids Run (ages 2-12): Entry fee is $20 from now through November 27th.  Race day registration (space permitting) is $30.

5K: The entry fee is $35 through November 5th.  It increases to $40 on November 6th.  Race day registration (space permitting) is $50.  Strollers are permitted, but no dogs.  We highly encourage racers to register early and avoid the crowds on race day. 

Bib and T-Shirt Pick-Up is Wednesday November 27th, from 10AM to 7 PM at Glam and Tonics AVEDA Salon - 2302 24th Ave E., and on race day from 8-9:15 near the start line.  Enjoy 20% off all products at Glam and Tonics during pick-up and on race day.  We highly encourage racers to pick up their bibs and shirts prior to race morning to avoid the crowds.  T-shirts are not guaranteed if you wait until race day.

Raffle from Local Business
Racers, walkers and others who make additional donations to the event (see DONATE button above) will be entered in a drawing for prizes from sponsors.  Each $10 donation earns one chance for a prize. Winners will be announced right before the race starts around 9:25AM. You don't need to be present to win and you don't need to sign up for the race to donate.  Prizes can be claimed at Glam and Tonics on race day until 11AM and for 1 week following the race.

Net proceeds from the race and all additional donations go to the University District Food Bank.

Race Day Schedule
8:00 AM – In Person Registration Open at Glam & Tonics
8:00 AM – Bib and T-shirt Pick Up Opens on Lynn St for Online Registrants

9:25 AM – Raffle Winners Announced 

9:30 AM – 5K Begins at E Lynn St and 25th Ave E
10:00 AM – Kids Run Begins (1 mile first followed by 1/2 mile)
10:30 AM – Race winners announced

Chip Timing
The timing chip is affixed to the back of your bib number. Please don’t bend or crinkle the bib as it can damage the timing chip and cause your time to be lost.  Wear the bib on the front outside of your outer most layer of clothing for photo tagging.

Race Results 
Live results will be on laptop kiosks near the finish line. Check RunSignUp or Montlake.net for results online. Winners will be announced after all races, around 10:30 AM.
